Les Amazones d’Afrique – a supergroup of remarkable West African female performers, including international stars, local heroes and up-and-coming musicians who are working towards ending gender inequality – will perform at the festival on May 10, 2019.

Les Amazones d’Afrique is the voice of strong women who talk about contemporary African women’s problems, pay attention to the need for social change and fight against violence. This project is not only artistic, but also committed. Performers believe that music can change the world for the better, by increasing sensitivity and encouraging reflection.

The collective consists of recognized vocalists of traditional Malian music and representatives of modern sounds such as reggae and soul, dub funk, savannah blues and techno-pop. This time, no doubt, we will witness an exceptional dose of impressive feminine energy!
