FULL-ON / Polish Premiere

FULL-ON is a unique audiovisual collaboration project created in 2021 by musicians and composers Klara Lewis and Nik Colk Void, in collaboration with visual artist Pedro Maia. In this collaboration, Klara Lewis and Nik Colk Void explore the boundaries of sound space that they create in their solo music projects. Guitars, synthesizers, Eurorack modular systems, voice, sampling, and sound processing are presented in an uncompromising manner. Their approach yields an interesting effect, where the artists create a playful collage of sonic whirlwinds, intertwining Pop and Noise and merging their versions of “delicate techno” and “brutal ambient.” During live performances, Lewis and Void are accompanied by visuals from Pedro Maia, who uses manipulation of 16mm analog film as a starting point, exploring the possibilities of materiality and form in an analog and live medium. This project has been presented at international festivals and various venues, such as Dark MoFo (Tasmania), Ultima Festival at Henie Onstad Art Center (Oslo), L.E.V. Festival (Gijón), and Conflux Festival (Rotterdam).

KLARA LEWIS: A renowned sound sculptor from Stockholm, Klara Lewis presents her audiovisual shows in clubs and art galleries worldwide and has been recognized as one of the most important figures at festivals such as Atonal, Mutek, Sonar, and Semibreve. Lewis creates her works based on heavily manipulated samples and field recordings, crafting a unique blend of organic and digital elements. She has released numerous well-received albums through Editions Mego, including “Ett,” “Too,” “Ingrid,” “Ingrid Live at Fykinggen,” and “Live in Montreal 2018.” In addition to her solo work, she actively collaborates with Simon Fisher Turner and Peder Mannerfelt.

NIK COLK VOID: A British artist and electronic musician, known for her experimental approach to sound and collaboration. She has released eight acclaimed studio albums with musical groups such as Factory Floor (with Gabriel Gurnsey and Dominik Butler), Carter Tutti Void (with Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti), and NPVR (with the late Peter Rehberg). She has collaborated with labels such as Mute, DFA, Blast First, Editions Mego, and Industrial. Her debut solo album “Bucked Up Space” is set to be released this year (April 8) through Editions Mego. Notable live performances, both solo and in collaboration with other artists, have taken place at festivals such as CTM, Unsound, Incubate, Pitchfork (NY, Paris, Chicago), Moog, Coachella, GRM Paris, Club2Club, LEV, Semibreve, and Rewire. PEDRO MAIA: A Portuguese filmmaker (based in Berlin) who primarily works with 16mm and 8mm film, pushing the boundaries and aesthetics of analog cinema through the manipulation of raw materials and questioning traditional filmmaking processes. His works have been presented and exhibited at prestigious film festivals, institutions, and galleries such as The Barbican Center, Serralves Museum, Tokyo Contemporary Art Museum, and Armenian Centre for Contemporary Experimental Art. Maia has collaborated with artists like Patti Smith, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Lucrecia Dalt, as well as musicians such as Vessel, Shackleton, Visionist, Shapednoise, Jacaszek, Lee Ranaldo, and Fennesz, presenting his works live at festivals such as Sonar, Unsound, Berlin Atonal, and Mutek.
