A composer and performer creating music at the intersection of minimalism, early music, and experimental electronics. Her works, based on extended forms and subtle shifts in sound, combine acoustic and electronic instruments to craft intimate and meditative sonic experiences. She has performed at venues such as Southbank Centre, MoMA, Barbican Centre, Elbphilharmonie, Getty Museum, and Reina Sofia. She has composed for ensembles including the London Contemporary Orchestra, Quatuor Bozzini, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and many others. Founder of the Late Music label (Warp Records), she lives and works in Los Angeles.
