Kali Malone is a composer and sound artist known for her hypnotic compositions based on slow harmonic cycles and historical tuning systems. Her work, drawing from polyphony and sacred music, invites deep contemplation and a fresh perspective on structure and harmony.
She creates for pipe organs, choirs, chamber ensembles, and in electroacoustic formats. Her music has been presented at venues such as Lincoln Center, Elbphilharmonie, Philharmonie de Paris, Berghain, Unsound Festival, and the Venice Biennale. She has collaborated with artists such as Stephen O’Malley, Lucy Railton, and Caterina Barbieri. Originally from Colorado, she now lives in Stockholm and Paris.
